We learned slight of hand and how to fight. How to make it enough to keep food in our bellies and some clothes on our backs.The roof over our head came in the form of Pretty Boy, who took us in and gave us names. He refined our will to live as well as the fighting styles we had created. He tried his best to give us manners, self respect, and dignity. He said he saw a lot of promise in us, though he still tells us we’re not much smarter then the striking dummies he taught us on.Nowadays we make our home at the World's End and only fight when we need to. They let us earn our keep with the pretty pictures we take.
